The 2009 Paris-Roubaix will be televised this Sunday night, April 12th on SBS at 10.10pm

Next to the Tour de France Paris Roubaix is the race all riders would love to win.3_31
stuartogrady_wideweb__470x3130The 260 kilometre race is the most prestigious single-day professional bicycle road race on the calendar, held in northern France and starting in Compiègne, the race finishes in Roubaix, near the Belgian

border.

Must see viewing for all cycling fans.  So, get a nanna nap in first or set your DVD recorder… but don’t miss it!

    won’t be haussler, peaked too early.
    boonen is dubious but had no luck this week. And yet to peak.
    devolder will be watched like a hawk.

    i’ll pick george just to jinx him with some horrid mechanical…but I think he hasn;t the burst.

    So I’ll be consuming some belguim beer just to ensure I pass out just after the foret d’arbre.
    Whatever bloody sector of shitty road that is (16 or 17?)

  10. anyone got select tv (budget version of foxtel)
    they are showing the race live from 8.00pm
    just thought I would mention it…as not all cyclists are aware
    they have eurosport channel and show heaps of cycling
    watched the whole of paris-nice the other week
    they will be showing whole of giro d’italia etc…
    easy to convert if you are on sat with foxtel…they are on internet
