Calling all budding Cancellaras,
Next sunday (12th of June) ATTA is having their first champion lakes time trial, which is a 20km individual TT around the rowing course in Armadale.
I am going to ride there, do the TT, and cruise back to Perth. So if anyone else is keen to put the Km’s in their legs, and test themselves against the clock (instead of the chookenberg), reply to this post and we’ll get a group together.
To register for the TT go to the ATTA website: http://www.atta.asn.au/ , go into the calendar section, and click the ‘pre-register’ dot next to ‘Winter on the Lakes 1’. You give them your name and e-mail and you get sent a start time, you have to pay a bit of money on the day but its only $10 (possibly less).
If everyone meets at Coode st car park ar 6:30, which should give plently of time to get to Champion Lakes before 8:00 when the first rider sets off.
Just gone through the beaut ATTA database of results (don’t know why my wife thinks I’m a sad git).
Anyhow the Hall of Champion Lakes for SPR is starting to get quite lengthy, I can find 13 people
Current Top 5- but 11 have cracked 40km/h and those that haven’t are so damn close.

I’m still waiting for the B sample for your effort. Had you or were you anywhere near Spanish meat whilst riding in Gosnells/ Champion Lakes?
And appreciate any feedback on my SAD GIT status, just like Lennie (r u riding tomorrow coz watch out, I’ll start jabbering at you about my new sewage recycling project and how it can be your next source of drinking water…..).
