When you were watching the track cycling at the Olympics recently did wonder what it would feel like to fly around a banked wooden track? Well, here is your chance.
Feel the rush…experience the thrill of the wind rushing past you as you dive down the track to pass your competitors.
SPR are having a ‘Have a Go at Track’ day. There’s no experience necessary: if you can ride a bike you can ride the track!!!
Date: Sunday, 25th November 2012
Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Cost: $35 per person to be paid online by the COB Monday, 17th November 2012 to confirm your place (see link below). The session is limited to 30 people so get in quick to avoid disappointment!
What’s included: Track entry, track bike hire, expert tuition, a great time!!
What to bring: Your own pedals and cycling shoes (if you don’t think you can get them off your bike bring your whole bike and we can help on the day), normal cycling clothing, helmet, drink bottles and some ride snacks.
A coach from Track Cycling WA will be our host for the session showing us the ropes (i.e. technique, tactics etc).

Thanks to all those that have expressed their interest in coming along to give the track a go (sorry I forgot to open the blog for comment…I have now though). I’ll be putting up a blog this week with a bit of break down of the session that Track Cycling WA will host for us. In the meantime get in and register whilst there are still places left. Yabbadabbadooooo!
