Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few years you will be aware that we are now in the month of Movember, an annual awareness raising campaign for health issues affecting men that results in quite a lot of outrageous facial hair.  A fun way to bring some focus to some serious issues…

Some of you would have noticed a small group of SPR riders on Saturday rocking the ‘Wheels in Mo-tion’ kit instead of the usual green.  Apart from simply looking good the kit also carries the names of two men close to a couple of the members of the group taken too soon by health issues that are a part of the focus of Movember.  If you’d like to sponsor us and help to raise funds for research then click on the link below.  You’ll also find information there about some of the health issues that are addressed through Movember…did you know that more men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year than women that are diagnosed with breast cancer, and that more men will be claimed by the disease?
