what helps you to get on the bike when it is predicted to be only 5 degrees this saturday. do you get inspired by seeing the picture of jeremy climbing the stelvio??? or are you motivated to ride on the day that your mate doesn’t, just so you can stay a step ahead. it has been wet and it is still cold, but a perth winter is still better for riding than an english summer, so on your bike.

Nice work near the finish of this mornings EBR from a motorist who had to slam on the brakes to avoid the median strip while attempting a seriously stupid overtake of our cycling group. Proceeded to tell us we should be cycling on the footpath, which is totally illegal for anyone past puberty.
Arguing with stupid doesn’t get you very far, so we continued on our way.
