The road racing calendar is filling up afer a quite few months.
Entries have opened for Pinjarra Classic on Sunday 20th of September and the newly announced State Senior Road Race Championship on Saturday 26th of September.
The Pinjarra Classic is another “classic” WA cycle race held by the Peel Districts Cycle Club. It is one of the hilliest races in Perth, but the main climb up towards Dwellingyup is early on, so there is plenty of time for the peleton to chase down the break away. Lets hope it will be better conditions than last year! Remember to stay for a beer at the pub after!
It is part of the SPR club championship, which is still wide open!
More information and entries for Pinjarra Classic can be found here.
A new upcoming race – The State Open Road Race Championship – has just been confirmed. There is a very exciting new course in the Wellington Forrest outside of Bunbury. Much of the course will be on fully closed roads through forrest. By all accounts, the winners will deserve their state titles! It is scheduled for Saturday 26th of September. More information can be found on the facebook page.
The APRC has decided that this will be an additional, and the final, race to the 2015 SPR Club Championship series!
For people racing at TOMR, you should consider these races as compulsory training for race craft and experience.
