If Mass A increases force over the time period of the shift in its centre of mass, relative to the centre of mass of the linked A + B system, then could the perceived deceleration of Mass B be counteracted?
ie Should the centre of mass of the linked A + B system accelerate, due to Mass A’s increase in force, at a sufficient rate, then wouldn’t Mass B be perceived to have not been thrown backwards? It would have still moved backwards in relation to the centre of mass of the linked A + B system but not in relation to the wheel behind, which we assume has had no change in force or its centre of mass.time to send an email off to mythbusters so they can use those fancy highspeed cameras, then blow everything up just for kicks.
