the pickering brook series is a great introduction into racing. it is however still a good few months away still.

if you wanted to dip your toes sooner than that i would recommend having a go at the Peel Districts criteriums currently on just about every weekend at the moment. their races are very well organised and very friendly. the courses they choose for their criteriums are great – smooth corners and wide roads. Not too technical at all. They also have good numbers turn out for C and D grades. all the info can be found here – http://pdcc.asn.au/

if you’re happy at the M1 pace on saturday’s then you’d be fine in D grade in a Peel Districts race. I’d say you could probably hold your own in C grade at Peel. I know of a sure fire way of finding out
