Make sure you are there for either the People’s Choice Crit on Sunday 19th or the last TDU Stage (Stage 6) on Australia Day 26th. Both are on inner city circuits and offer a great viewing opportunity.
Get a hotel / apartment in the CBD – within walking distance of the event centre at Victoria Square (corner Grote St & King William St). You will want to go to the event centre to see the bike expo, the big screens, the athletes and to catch up for a beer. There are also plenty of eating spots within walking distance.
Book your accommodation early – especially if you are only going for a part of the week as some places may have a minimum booking period.
Take your SPR green kit with you – it can be seen from miles !!!!
