    Hi there guys,
I was one of the riders that came off. Thinking back to the day and using retrospect, I can say:
    1) The support received straight after the crash was great. Riders came back, traffic managed etc.
    2) Should we have ridden home? Questionable in retrospect. I stuck to the paths on the way back, and I then gave Greg Murray (The Beardy One) a call to let him know all was ok. Perhaps if one rides home after a crash we should make contact with the club to let them know all is ok for the time being.
    3) Collecting details – phone numbers, photo’s etc…In retrospect, would have been great for insurance. I have put a claim in, and it has been approved. I think if we supply as much info as possible to insurance companies then it just makes us look good and the claim is quickly and easily processed. I can see the situation arising quite quickly where the insurance company want witnesses/ photo’s and there is no info available. Photo’s photo’s photo’s, swap details.
    4) If people can also provide commentary as to what they saw happen that would be great. To this day I do not know what happened. Changing lines, braking, bad riding on my part – who knows. Potentially set up a section on the SPR website which documents the crashes, what happened, who was involved etc. – one topic per incident approach, put in details, photo’s etc.
If I think of more, I will put it up. But thanks guys for checking up.
    Cheers,
    C
