Don’t write off your Home & Contents Policy either Lesley. We only have our bikes covered under our “Home & Contents” Insurance with QBE (through ANZ) but for what it’s worth, my rear wheel was damaged in transit on the way home from the Kalgoorlie Cyclassic & it wasn’t repairable & QBE approved my claim for a replacement within 2 days of my making a claim.
