Hi,
I’ve been involved in a PhD study by a Curtin Student to determine how much rubbish we breathe in while cycling both fast and not so fast. The student, Anu, asked me if I knew any other cyclists who may be able to assist her, she needs more data from cycling in the Welshpool area, I think she mentioned Railway Pde. I did the first test this morning, you get hooked up with a sensor to record particulate matter, heart rate and respiration rate, you go for a slow ride for 10km, then repeat for fast ride for 10 km. There’s also a physical test later too which takes 30 mins and this may be where it gets explained to me exactly how much flab I need to lose…anyway, if you’re interested in helping, you can contact me via email on mr dot shane dot french at gmail dot com and I will put you in touch with Anu.
Thanks
