The latest kit order has arrived and will be available for pick-up from Dome Westralia Plaza after the ride on Saturday until about 10:00am. It should also be there next Saturday as well (04/03/2017).
If neither of those pick-ups work for you send me an email to kit@southperthrouleurs.com.au and we can sort out an alternative…
The current club kit order is due to close tomorrow, but as Cannibal is closed for a few more days over the break we’ll extend the deadline until Tuesday 3rd January 2017. This order will arrive mid February…
All the information you’ll need to place an order can be found on the website’s kit page – here. But if you have any questions at all please contact the kit committee via kit@southperthrouleurs.com.au.
Every year people turn up to the first few races in January and invariably somebody is caught out by that fact that they no longer have a valid race licence…don’t be that guy! (NB. ‘guy’ has used in a deliberately non gender-specific fashion and applies to all members!)
All racing licences expire on 31 December each year. Cycling Australia usually sends an email in October to remind you, but by this time of year most of us have forgotten about it.
Before you get completely lost in the mayhem of the Christmas period take a minute to renew your racing licence so that you can continue to race uninterrupted in the New Year. Click here to go to the membership page.
The latest kit order has landed and will be available for collection from the Dome at Westralia Plaza tomorrow between about 8:45am and 10:00am. Cannibal have done a tremendous job in getting the order to us in 4 and a half weeks! I have been advised that four people are missing an item which will be here in a week or so, but I will contact those people directly.
The kit will not be at the Dome next Saturday (12/11) as most of the kit sub-committee (and a large percentage of the club!) will be down South for the Tour of Margaret River. Instead the second collection day will be Saturday 19 November.
Of course, there are always the options of paying to have your kit posted to you, or contacting kit@southperthrouleurs.com.au to organise an alternative pick up…
We have a very limited number of SPR gloves in black and green. They are some left over samples from original testing before we went with the current white design for the club gloves.
$20 a pair. Once they’re gone they’re gone…first in best dressed. Get along to the club shop page to see if there is still a pair in your size…
A leaf might be the logo for the Tour of Margaret River but I think we can all agree that it doesn’t look great as a cycling kit! 😉
The current kit order will close on September 30th, so if you are riding the Tour of Margaret River (or just want to look good while riding your bike!) get in and place you order now.
For those that have done ToMR before you’ll know that the weather is not always kind so a bit of extra kit could be handy.
The latest kit order has arrived, so if you placed an order prior to June 30th you’ll be able to collect it from the DOME after the Saturday ride for the next two weeks (23/07 and 30/07). The boxes will be there from approximately 9:00am – 10:00am.
Alternatively you can pay to have your kit posted to you by visiting the shop.
Any pieces of kit from previous orders that are still to be collected, including quite a few pairs of the limited addition lycra socks, will also be at the cafe for the next two weeks.
If you have qualified to race in this September’s Gran Fondo World Series Final…then you’ll want to race in the official SPR National Kit. Of course, just like with the regular SPR kit, you must be a current member to purchase.
This will be a limited run, and orders will close in the first week of July to ensure that we have plenty of time to get it manufactured prior to the final.
Jerseys in all cuts, bib-knicks, shorts, and long sleeve skin suits will be available.
The National kit cannot be ordered through the Cannibal order portal. You need to get across to the SPR shop.
If you are one of the lucky ones who has qualified for this year’s UCI Gran Fondo World Series final in September it is likely you got an email from Cycling Australia late last week about how to purchase Australian national kit. If so, you might like to hold off purchasing for a bit…
The club is currently investigating the requirements for printing and selling our own South Perth Rouleurs version of the national kit. As you will have seen in the past, when the pros race in national kit it is customised to feature their sponsors and trade team. A similar thing is possible featuring club badging. This will not only make the kit a bit more special, but will also help you to stand out a bit more from what is likely to be a sea of generic Australian jerseys on the day!!
We’ll have something sorted in the next week or two so watch this space…
