SPR gloves are now available to complement you club kit and can be purchased through the normal Cannibal online ordering portal. Go to the Club Kit page and follow the links and instructions to place your order.
A small number of riders have been testing these gloves for the past few months and reports have been good!
If you are quick you can get yourself some gloves on the current order. The order window was supposed to close on Thursday (March 31), but we’ll push it out a couple of days until midnight Sunday (April 3) to give people a bit more of a chance to get their orders in. Get in, get your gloves, and also think about what gear you might need to keep you warm as the mornings get cooler and winter approaches…
The club committee has recently agreed on a new policy for providing club members with a discount on replacing items of club kit that are damaged through a crash or other misadventure. If you have recently damaged your current club kit then you might find this policy very useful…particularly with the current kit order closing in five days.
You can find a link to the policy on the Club Kit page, or click here.
The next club kit order is going to close early so that we can take delivery of kit in January. The new closing date is December 13th, so if you need some new pieces of kit get onto it…orders can be placed through the club kit page.
Socks
Socks have arrived, so if you were missing them from your last order you can grab them from me at the Dome after Saturday’s ride. Alternatively contact me on kit@southperthrouleurs.com.au to arrange collection. I’ll also have the uncollected kit from the last two orders with me so if you haven’t yet collected this is your bonus chance.
New jersey options
If you go to the bottom of the kit order page you’ll see that there are two new jersey styles available. For summer racing we have added the SPR Elite Aero Jersey. This is the same cut as the Elite Cut jersey, but is made with lighter weight materials and is very aero!
We have also added the SPR Summer Protector Race Fit Jersey. This is made of the same light weight Air-Dot material as the Elite and Race options, but as its name suggests it is long sleeve to help protect you from those nasty UV rays. This is also a great jersey for those cooler spring and autumn mornings where you just want to keep the chill off your arms but don’t want to end up cooking in a winter jersey.
The kit order has arrived and will be available for collection from DOME Westralia Plaza Saturday morning after the ride. It will also be there next Saturday (21/11/15) as well.
If you have ordered socks they are still to arrive, so we’ll let you know when they are here.
If you are unable to collect on either of these two days contact me at kit@southperthrouleurs.com.au to make alternative arrangements.
The current kit order will be closing at midnight on Sunday 20th September.
We have decided to do this to guarantee that any kit ordered will be available for the Tour of Margaret River. So if you think that you will need any additional kit for the biggest multi stage race in WA then get in quick!
We have added a 600ml bottle to the range (the 800ml is still available as well) as we know many people prefer the smaller bottle for racing.
To place you order for kit follow the steps on the club kit page.
I still have some kits from the last order. If you haven’t collected your kit yet please get in touch via kit@southperthrouleurs.com.au to organise collection or postage.
The kit order has just arrived and will be available for collection from DOME Westralia Plaza tomorrow morning after the ride. It will also be there next Saturday (29/08/15) as well.
If you are unable to collect on either of those days contact me at kit@southperthrouleurs.com.au to make alternative arrangements.
The next kit order will close in late September in order to have the kit arrive prior to the Tour of Margaret River.
The next kit order will close on September 30th. If you are looking to ride in the Tour of Margaret River this will be the opportunity to organise the extra kit you are likely to need. Cannibal has guaranteed us that the kit will be in Perth prior to the event.
Within the the next few weeks will will be adding a smaller water bottle (more suitable for racing) to the order page. We also hope to have gloves added before this order closes…unfortunately Cannibal has had some difficulty in identifying a local supplier that produces to their standards. We believe one has now been identified. SPR cycling caps should also be available on the order page within the next couple of weeks.
We have some casino online surplus pieces of club kit that are up for grabs. If you are interested in any of the pieces listed below please email us at kit@southperthrouleurs.com.au to organise payment and collection. All kit is brand new and unworn.
Old Champion Systems kit

1 x Large Men”s Razor bib knicks – black version – $60
This guy is Eddy Merckx…‘The Cannibal’. He won the Tour de France 5 times, and in 1969 achieved the unparalleled feat of winning the Yellow Jersey (general classification), the Green Jersey (points) and the Polka-Dot Jersey (King of the Mountains). If they had had the White Jersey for Best Young Rider he would have won that too. But Eddy can’t have an SPR Jersey, made by Cannibal, because he isn’t a club member!!
If you haven’t got yours get in quick…the current order closes tomorrow night (30/06/15)! Follow the links and instructions on the Club Kit page…
The current kit order will be closing on June 30th so if you need something get in quick. What you need to know to place your order can be found here.
Brand spanking new SPR Socks have been added to the range for
this order, and at $16.25 they are probably the best value cycling socks you will ever buy! The socks are blend of Cotton, Nylon and Lycra and feature Bridge Arch Support which is supposed to help reduce fatigue. Whether that works or not is unimportant, because they look great, and that’s all that really counts! 🙂
If you still haven’t collected your kit from the last order contact us via kit@southperthrouleurs.com.au to organise collection or postage.
Track racing is exciting to watch…full stop. You’ve seen it on the TV at the Olympics and the Commonwealth Games, now come and see some top class track racing just down the road. Watching a live game is fun, but it even gets more interesting if there is some money involved. Betting on these games at the best US Online Casinos adds a little something else to cheer for when watching games with friends, or even when watching at home.
On June 28th Track Cycling WA will host their annual Winter Track GP, which features the historic Westral Wheelrace. If you are taking part in the Swan Valley Cyclo Sportif on the same day (see previous post here if you are keen to be involved) you’ll get free entry to this event. If you aren’t riding to Cyclo you can buy a ticket to come and watch the track racing anyway. Ticket information is on the flyer below or via this link.
