DARDANUP OPEN

I can’t believe the Dardanup Open

has rolled around so quickly…

This was without a doubt my favourite race of last year’s season!

The race takes you through the picturesque Ferguson Valley, up, down and around the rolling hills of the Southwest.

Check out last year’s write ups from Paul O and myself for a quick flashback.

This year The Dardanup Open will take place on Sunday 16 May

A course map can be found here and buy viagra registrations here.

Not to be forgotten is the 25 or 40km  Participation Ride which is a perfect opportunity for ANY level of cyclist to come along and join the fun.

.

It is a bit of a drive down but well worth the effort.  Carpooling would be a great idea so let us know if you need a lift or can offer

one to 1 or 2  keen SPR racers/supporters.

Let us know what grade you are entering in the comments.

A race pack will be posted closer to the date.

  1. This race is also one of my favourites but unfortunately I won’t be there this year…I am in Bali next week on R & R and fly in on Sunday. Good luck to all who race 🙂

  2. C grade. Im up for it. We are looking for a good place to stay around Dardanup saturday night…me, the wife and our 7 yr old. Any suggestions?

  3. Morrison, Best choice would be to stay in Bunbury. Dardanup is very close.

  4. I’m in for C grade. Glad to see you’re coming back for more Carlos 🙂

  5. plus I will need to borrow a medium sized SPR jersey and bib shorts as I havn’t got any yet

  6. i am in for ‘b’ grade.
see if i can actually finish a race this time.
well since it is not a lap course, i can’t really pull out halfway through, so guess i will be finishing.

  7. I should be scared. I’ll get involved in B grade….. like the sad B grader I have always been. meep! JARRAD… mate left a voice mail for you today- would love to take you up on the lift if you have got space… will sort with fuel money…

  8. Another big SPR showing for Dardy noice one.
I enetered B but unsure if they will let me ‘sneak in’ but no way I could survive A (sorry Matty)

  9. Can somebody do an anti-rain dance or something? Forecast is nasty!

I’m not driving 5 hours (round trip at least) to be cold, wet and miserable…..:(

  10. Jarrad, didn’t you mention something about Belgian heritage?
Or is that just a fondness for Belgian beer and frites?

  11. Dutch heritage, the Belgians are crazy, but they do have excellent beer and frites……

Still though, not a fan of the wet.

  12. I have entered B grade.

Is anyone able to help out with a lift down? Can sort you out fuel/beer/frites-wise.

  13. You wanna hope its not like collie to donnybrook last year haha. (read my blog on it on here I think I placed a picture of the terrential rain we had there at the start)
Toby your teh extreme opposite of Princess haha
    see you guys there

  14. Brendan,

I think i was actually entered for that race too, but chickened out due to weather. I’ll happily take the mantle (or is that tiara?) of ‘Princess’.
