All the best in Canada Doug. It’s only a couple of years. Worst comes to worst you could do a few Sufferfest sessions a week
I never did get to repay you for dragging my ass around the Water Tower Challenge ride. Agree with Stuart, good memories of that day!

Hi Gareth
it’s almost as flat as serpentine. you’ll have to attack in the crosswinds!
i’ll be there having another crack at B grade (or combined A/B grade if they do that again)

Great write up Julian! Brings back memories of last year, except it didn’t rain last year. I hope to be out there again next year, which evidently will be Alison’s 4th time
That’s a pretty solid pace too. […]

I’m in. I really do need to stick something on my calendar to get my butt into gear and do some proper training. 6 weeks should be enough right?
And I’m leaning towards option 2.

The cows were a great touch. Great route I thought and the roads allowed for a pretty good roll through for most of the way.

Alistair replied to the topic 50/34 – 12/25 or 53/39 – 11/28? in the forum General Discussion 12 years ago
i run 53/39 with 12-26, am 90kg and find it manageable in perth hills. i swap over to a 12-27 when i go over to tassie.
a more cost effective solution again, is training! but you didn’t wanna hear that did you
