I had a cheap Elite Mag Alu turbo for a couple of years and dreaded it.Having flogged all my big, heavy gear before moving to Aus, I replaced it with a Tacx Satori this time last year. Apologies Luke but other half will be 30wks pregnant and isnt keen on a weekend in the SPR bus (i dont know whats wrong with her!). So, I’m going to stick around in Perth and ride Peel District instead. Maybe next year….

I have one of these and it seems very good. A little weighty at close to 400g (from memory) but aero should trump the weight.

Do you have to buy a transponder or do they loan them out? It says on the website $5 transponder levy per event….

To those more familiar with the WA race scene, is this generally a hard race? It is longer than the PDCC and MidlandCC races and I’m guessing pretty hilly.
