other than bigger, is it worth the upgrade? I’ve got an 800 and had been considering it. but I have 3 of the bar end mounts (I can never be bothered swapping them between bikes) and the 1000 needs a different mount. But the 800s still get a reasonable price second hand. So it could be worth it given the change over is not huge.

I rode the pines a couple of times on the weekend.

I tragically lost my father to suicide earlier this year and I guess like Andrew it will be something that will affect me for the rest of my life.
It sounds like a good cause to support, and I’d be more than happy to join the grand depart.
Plus a hills ride sounds a lot better than working on a Tuesday. count me in please.

Thanks, good to hear. It happened at what was probably the fastest part of the descent too… So they were lucky.

Go to this website and download a video. It is much more entertaining having a structured session. plus the video footage and music is quite good with amusing commentary. It is alot easier to smash yourself this way I find, you get all the visual cues on screen for intervals etc. so it involves less thinking when…[Read more]
