  • Congratulations Anna! That is an amazing effort in those conditions. I know the feeling of pain amnesia. Even after a crash on the bike and saying half way through that I wouldn’t do it again i managed to changed […]

As you may have guessed from the title I had the chance to ride with South West Cycle Club over the long weekend.

Despite being a former Bunbury resident I knew I had my work cut out for me when I rolled in […]

ThumbnailI picked a great day to sleep in. I arrived at 7:05 expecting Prez to be late, but no….gasp…. the car park was empty. Perfect, a chance to practise my chase. After catching Main 2 I had a great ride with the sociable Main 2’ers. But the highlight was the dignitary who would be waiting to congratulate […]

  • Anna,

Feel free to send me an email, or give my email to your friend: curnow.christopher@gmail.com

Happy to arrange a viewing/test ride.

  • I’m currently selling my 2008 Specialized Allez Elite, I think it is a 56 or 56.5 frame. Wireless computer, good condition, serviced, I’ve already got my new bike so it is ready to go. I was asking $800, but I’m willing to undercut Ebay. It has also won two triathlons, so it is definitely race […]

The Tuesday group seemed to have grown again this week, so much so that we have now migrated to the far side of the Narrows overpass. One advantage of this is that the acoustics are fantastic, so we can actually hear what Pete was saying rather than having to try to lip read through his […]

  • Hi Toby,

I’m happy to do the registration desk, or line judging at a push.

Let me know the details and I’ll be there.

  • I’m definitely in for the season.

Jorgy, Rule #42 seems to contradict Rule #5. If I can get on a bike after swimming in the Swan River, then run covered in sweat/salt/seaweed whilst wearing a one piece bathing suit with next to no padding for the ride, then anyone can.

  • Jorgy/Jen, I’ll decided to give this one a miss on account of no time left in my week. Hopefully you can prod a few others to join in to share the load a little.

    Good Luck!

  • Great write up Meg. I thought I was the only rider who suffered road name amnesia, which I put down to a lack of fancy Garmin computer. In fact I can’t even remember riding with South Perth on Saturday……. oh actually, that is because I didn’t. Extra motivation for this week.

  • Great wrap Daryl. I thought I was doing as much ‘wheel sucking’ as you were, but perhaps not. That would explain your “bull***” remark when I said I was only riding well because I was sitting on your wheel. Can’t say I’m too impressed that I inspired a Labor vote, perhaps I need to talk […]
