Hi Maddog, no costings as yet. After the Sat Q&A (small turnout, due to the poor weather for the rides that morning), we are exploring a few options for accommodation and transport. To all the SPR competitors out on the UWCT Gran Fondo course on Sunday, well done! It was great fun to be able to get supplies and cheers off to our Club Mates. On a hellish tough day and parcourse like that, I know how a familiar face, voice (or moustache) can pep things up and get you re-focussed again.

Really inspiring to have trained along side in the past few months. Love that you’ve gone old school, sans powermeter! Massively impressive results and brilliant report. Pity we didn’t get to see any screen time when we were streaming the coverage on race day.

JJ I’m flattered indeed :-). Learning the craft of racing takes consistent effort and at times means sacrificing things that are also important to us like sleep, beauty time, wine, time with friends, etc.) but the rewards are immense. I owe a lot of my success with transforming from club riding to racing as part of a sponsored team to the support I’ve been given from family, friends, my coach and our amazing club…the South Perth Rouleurs. Stick at it JJ :-).
Nice – well done.
You’ll never have First Race nerves again.
