Agree with what you have suggested.
Also…
– Firstly make sure no-one is at risk of being run over by a car or other cyclists. This includes everyone in the group and not just the injured… No harm in speaking up to tell people to get off the road.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.
Best way to make the group go faster is to avoid wearing everyone out by having good group riding and rolls. -

Hello
Would anyone be interested to do an ‘unofficial’ and somewhat cheaper 3/5 dams ride on the Sat 22nd March? This would be 2 weeks before the official event.
I propose leaving from Coode St at 5am and following the normal dams routes
3 dams – 150km ~ 5-6 hours
5 dams – 255km ~ 9-10 hours

I am hoping to get some advice from the triathletes lurking in SPR…
I have a friend who wants to get into sports, I suggested to her that she should get into triathlons.
Does anyone have any advice for a good tri club for her to join? She is in Fremantle area, and would be more on the social end as opposed to competitive.

So I had a look at the slow-mo of the crash in the video… I can see who goes down first but any idea as to what caused the crash? Did his front wheel clip the bike in front?
