  • Hi All,

Thought this article was timely given the recent fork failure that was suffered on the Friday Ride.

Nathan, I have built my own wheels so depending on your wheel spoke count “May” be able to fix it. Do you carry any spare spokes for your wheel? How many spokes is your wheel? are they Aero spokes?
Or you can try Riders Choice. I have had a few broken spokes replaced by them. (before my budding wheel building career started 😛 )

  • Hi Guys, I did my session with Anu this morning. She has enough cyclists for the Kwinana, Mitchell sections but is still looking for cyclists for the Welshpool area. She needs around 10 more.
Get involved with this, if for any reason then the chance to win a share of $1000 worth of cycling vouchers.

    Hi Guys,

In my last Wiggle order I got a pair of the black/red DHB ASV Bibshorts in Large (that’s what they recommended me to get). They are too small for me and now I need to get rid of them. Rather than pay the postage to send them back, I thought someone might be interested in taking them off my h…[Read more]

    Andrew,

Might be an idea to post that article in main “Team Kit” section of the Web page. It currently only has a “Coming Soon” type article.

Thanks Andrew, and forgot to add that the KitCom have a hard job pleasing everyone, and do a great job. I think it looks good…clean and neat. There are obviously reasons for going back to Cannibal, and I look forward to seeing and trying the new kit.

Question: Have we moved away from having sponsors on the Club kit, or is this going to be added once the sponsors are finalised?

    Lesley,
You can check out DC Rainmaker’s Power Meter guide to get an idea of what is on the market and what is coming. There are some new entries to the market coming in the next few months.

  • Anyone interested in organising a table for this event?
    http://www.bwa.org.au/events/790/

Date is Mon 3 Nov from 7 to 8.30

Robbie will then be doing a ride around the river, but that is a seperate event. (You have to be a BWA member for the ride)

Let me know and I will sort something out.

The ride you talk about is the ‘Hell Ride’, unfortunately if you go onto youtube, you’ll see what we all see in Melbourne, and that is nothings changed, red lights jumped, 6 or 7 abreast at times, and full on sprinting. There are a number of ‘chapters’ who ride these big rides, and cause the problem, wearing there sponsored kits. But then again you expect riders who are sponsored by BMW and SKCC to be dicks…
