Well the new bike has been purchased and the training has commenced for the 2012 Perth Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer. Unfortunately the fundraising progress has stall and is in desperate need of kick start. Any donation big or small will help, both with much needed funding for the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAMIR), and getting me to my goal for participation in this epic 200 plus kilometre ride through the picturesque West Australian countryside.
The event is to take place on October 20-21 and although that may seem a long way off your donations are needed now. This money goes straight to the institute where it is used immediately in breakthrough research, screening programs, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care.
Ultimately I would love to be in the top ten fundraisers, though small steps at this stage I’m targeting the entry level fundraising to be a part of such a wonderful event and deserving cause. Please help me to make this experience a success, and with your help we can make a difference
