At least the riders don’t riggle around on the floor when they are “injured”. Look at Turbo Durbridge when he came off on Stage 2. Bleeding from both knees and still gave a interview before getting treatment.

Hi Andrew
The 5:30 on Saturday is fast. They go around the river in 1hr 30min. I suggest 7:00 group ride. Its best you start in the Development group so that you get to know group riding skills, roll through procedures, calling out terminology. etc.

Does anyone use a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt bike computer? I’m trying to find out if this bike computer will download club ride routes via Garmin Connect. I have tried various forums but none state specifically whether it can download the club rides.

I am not sure if anyone knows but on the 18th March, the Indian Pacific Cycle Race will start from the South Mole in Fremantle at 6am and finishing at Sydney Opera House. An epic trip and the riders are totally unsupported. I’ll be there to cheer them on.

elPrez, what bugs me is my lack of motivation to do a group ride during the week when I am on permanent night shift. Finishing work at 3.30am with the thought a 2 hour wait aargh. By that time I am so tired, so a 30 to 40km ride would be a hard slog. Plus the weather. Oh bring on springtime 🙂
