August is the final month of our winter and is often the worst in terms of weather. It can be cold and/or wet i.e. minima of 3 degrees in the morning and maxima of 14 degrees (cold and wet) as the worst case scenario. So I would bring a fair bit of your UK winter gear. It doesn’t get warm here until September (our spring) and then only on odd days.
