I bought new shoes yesterday so headed out on s solo ride. However I didnt get far. Freeway bike path just after narrows I heard a snap. Thought I ran over something. Everything felt normal. No flat kept going.

Approaching raffles could hear a noise that was a little odd. Just after raffles i pulled over checked my wheel. As I had though I broke a spoke. Didnt want to go home. Normally one broken spoke doesnt end your ride.so I carried on. However few kms later i could hear a squeak. Checked again and rest of the spokes were fine. Carried on the shelly. Just got to shelly and checked. Brake was rubbing fixed that and 10m later it was still rubbing. Pulled over and discovered the wheel now was true. Ride over.

Got picked up and home. Sorry for the story. People who have had broken spokes. Who in Perth can replace spokes. Do they re true the wheel also.

Advice would be great.
