Do you happen to have a saddle that needs to go? I’m looking for a proper saddle for my indoor bike:)

Shane-thanks for the feedback, looked at the wattbike wesite, what a nice looking bike, some of the features in particular the pedaling efficiency and being able to race with other wattbikers are really appealing, endorsed by UK and Oz cycling really nice, also liked the fact that probably should have good customer support within Oz. Tried to call…[Read more]

What’s been the main issue with yours? It’s been more mechanical or computer/comms? Talked with their sales in Sydney and he was very confident that all issues are gone, he was of the opinion that the first few versions hit the market before being ready hence the issues, currently they sell it for $1999 online and $2999 at Rebel sports, he said…[Read more]

Thanks Shane, looked at the M3, nice reviews but I’m more leaning toward the Cycleops and btw Cycleops is the most expensive one among the 3 hahaha, which proform you have, it seems the early versions gen 1 and 2 have more issues and it’s been claimed that the centennial has resolved all, not much reviews available on the latest one though, time…[Read more]

I did contact them after you mentioned it and they confirmed they have the 400, and between the two highly recommend the cycleops.
They said they know where to get them and should be able to get a good deal for me.
No news yet:( -

Hey Craig, which one they use? CycleOps or the Proform, do you know which version i.e if Cycleops 300 or 400, after talking to the Proform distributor in Sydney apparently all the Rebel Sports here now have a demo Proform on the floor for testing etc, they sell it $1000 more (2,999) though than the online store in Sydney,I’m going to test the…[Read more]

Hi Guys,
Contemplating on buying a dedicated trainer bike that can also be used by my wife with no drama, her plan is to use it quite frequently after delivering the baby:P and not wasting money and time in gyms, narrowed down to CycleOps 400 pro and Proform Tour de France Centennial Bike, both pricy with the CycleOps being more expensive by…[Read more]

Thanks Stau,
The problem with the chart is that they haven’t differentiated between the different cuts, phoned Canibbal and they sort of recommend the Race Cut, the guy on the phone said he has similar body build to me and the Race cut can’t go wrong. The Elite one has more contours inside which makes it firmer and more suitable for skinny type…[Read more] -

Yohooo finally I made it, the missing ingredient was a hammer
gave it a good couple of hard taps from the drive side and the axle came out from the other side:) as I guessed there was another spacer inside which was stuck, cleaned the whole thing up thoroughly, regreased the bearings with Finish Line ceramic grease this time and repacked it,…[Read more]

Thanks Clint, I’ve seen that video before, it’s funny to say but it seems my Fulcrum racing zero is different to this one, so which one is a real racing zero then hahaha
After not having much luck with this one I searched for Compagnolo wheels hub service and one came up which looked quite similar to mine, the mechanic in the video doesn’t put…[Read more]

Thanks mate for the tips and the link, have to admit that yes you’re right I felt just because I have the tools now I can do it simply hahahaha. First time it nearly gave me a heart attack when few bits and pieces fell apart from it as I wasn’t sure what goes where
Last night I was pretty confident what I’m doing, I had the towel and the tray…[Read more]

Hi guys,
Have had two attempts so far to overhaul my rear wheel hub but have had no joy in removing the free hub!!! have followed the Fulcrum maintenance manual but it seems the manual has missed one step in between, apparently after removing the lock nut and a spacer and a bunch of tinny ball bearings (which surprisingly there is no reference to…[Read more]

Thanks mate for your comprehensive reply, placed the order and the stuff are on the way:) ended up with the PCS9 Park tool stand (couldn’t justify the PCS10 which is more popular) and a mix of Cyclo, Park and Pedros tools, came up slightly more expensive than the X-tools but not much. Hope wifey isn’t home when the delivery arrives hahahaha
cheers,

Thanks mate for the info.
I’ll make sure items above are in the tool kit, and you’re dead right the stand is on top of the list, why the Park tools are so expensive? any alternative brand with good quality but cheaper? -

Guys,
Any idea what tool kit is good to get for Campagnolo groupset?
I don’t have the guts to overhaul say the derailleurs completely yet but would like to be able to pull out the pulleys, open up the cassette, removing the chain rings etc for a nice clean up, adjustments etc.
Would be happy with mid range quality tools:)
cheers,

Hi Guys,
Unfortunately I can’t keep my beloved bikes indoor anymore as we have to prepare our third bedroom for our coming guests, so I’m investigating other alternative solutions.
