I’m pretty keen on doing a training ride with a group of peeps. Perhaps just the 3 dams course though, don’t propose to tell the family I’ll be spending 18-20 hours on the bike over 2 weekends.
let me know who is keen. Cheers. Neil.

Haha I sold those items upon my depart mate, you’re out of luck.
That would be great mate if there are no sellers on here before the weekend. Really appreciate it.

Hey guys if anyone has a new kit that doesn’t fit them, I’d be happy to take it off your hands for a price. I’m a size Large, racing in a few events soon and the next kit collection will be a long way off.
Cheers

Yeah haha couldn’t agree more Peter. I’ve normally taken the pragmatic approach to equipment but bearings were a grey area for me. I know that I own a $250 set of fulcrum 5’s that roll like a bowling ball downhill, as did a set of shimano RS 80’s I had, but my Ksyrium SL (even when new) seem to have a degree of resistance even after servicing as…[Read more]

Cheers Peter. I’ve had a look at quite a few hub combinations and certainly learnt a lot about wheels in general in one day.
I think an all rounder will be what I’m after at this stage to keep me on the road and on something decent enough to race as well….My frame is ageing so the next investment is likely that.
You’re right about Dura Ace…[Read more]

Hey guys,
Reopening this topic just to find out some info. I’m definitely going to speak to Yas about building some wheels for me, just not sure on what.
Any suggestions on a decent higher end quality hub,….for road/racing use obviously.
I have a set of Kysrium SL’s which are now on the tail end of their life cycle, so a replacement of this…[Read more]

When there are certain gains to be made in sport, we always end up with a politcal opposition of sanctioning bodies……..dissapointing in my opinion, but no matter the level, it’s there!
