I see Aus Retailers now can sell 1996 standard helmets till 30 June 2011 with some extra requirements.

Torpedo 7 is NZ based where the new AS/NZS 2063:2008 standard is not mandatory as is in Australia so probably not the reason for the special. NZ retail regulations allows the sale of Helmets with any approved standard, AS/NZS, CE, SNELL or US standards are approved (i.e. does not actually need AS/NZS 2063 standard) by […]
