cheers Rich. might be just my imagination but the ‘500m to go’ sign seemed to be much closer than 500m from the ‘1km to go’ sign – more like 200m. Just glad the finish wasn’t at the top where the crit finish was. ouch.

my work colleague Stu M had his front wheel skip across a wet catseye yesterday morning as the were rounding a bend along same strip heading toward freo. cycle kit and helmet a write off, plenty of skin off, bike ok.

just had a look thru CRC online shop and they don’t appear to ship any Cubes to Aus now, except for the following model – and that probably only because it’s last years stock:

I’ve got a Cube HPC roadie. Had it for 2 years now and
very happy with it. Yes – beware the sizing as Matt P
pointed out, need to go up one size as a rule from the norm.
