spr team kit – orders are open

we are now taking orders for the latest run of spr team kit.  have a look at the team kit page and see what we have to offer.

orders will be taken till the 15th feb, so this give you three weeks.

remember, we do not order extra kit and will not be doing another order for about 6 months, so don’t wait till it’s too late.

also, this order will cover all the kit for winter as well, so even though it is mid-high thirties and hasn’t rained for 67 days, it will get cold and things like vests, armwarmers and jackets will be essential.

minimum order for all items is 20 garments, so if we don’t reach this number, then those items may be charged at a higher rate.  prices in general have gone up this year, but only by a small amount.

to place your order, send and e-mail to sprkit@perthcycling.com.au and we will add it to the list.  once the order has been sent, payment is then required before the garments arrive.

  1. Any chance of getting full length Zipp Jarsey’s Pete? I think you will find most would be happy to pay extra for the ability to open them up on hot days, especially during races.

  2. Yep… nothing like flashy your white weedy cyclist’s chest at the competition to put them off 😉

  3. Jerard, no gold chain, but they do come with a waxing kit to comply with the Euro Cyclist code of conduct.

  4. ok.
full zippers. can be done, but for about an extra $5 per jersey.
the catch is that the whole order needs to be done like this or we get charged extra.
i.e. if we get an order of 25 jerseys, then all 25 need to have a full zip.
for those that are looking at being in the spr-teschner open team, then we can probably do all the kit with full zips.

chunky gold chains are optional. see your local gold supplier.

mankinis are a special order only, however, they do a good speedo if any triathletes can rustle up an order of about 20 garments.

3/4 bibs are not an option. however, we do have a knee warmer which basically turns your normal knicks into 3/4 length.

    keep the orders rolling in.

i think after this order we need to do a group photo like we did back in the livingston optical days.

  5. Full zipper would get my vote also.

Bummer on the mankini’s, although they leave suspicious tanlines, and have a rather undersized chamois area. How about bikini’s?

  6. I am in for the full zipper and bikini option. Ryan asked if the bikini comes in white to match his TT pedals?

  7. +2 on the vote for full zipper with the jersey. Pete, what’s the ETA once the order goes through on the 15th?

  8. ooookay. looks like there is quite a lot of support for the full length zippers. i will make a call to cannibal to confirm prices and let you all know what the go is. if it is to be, then it means that everyone will have to get full length zips. as far as i know it should only be about $5 more.

i was also thinking of getting the jerseys with no elastic in the arms. it is the new euro-look and a lot of the new kits are coming out with them. makes the tanlines not so distinct either.

so if you already have a kit but want a jersey with a full zip and no elastic in the sleeves, then you may want to get onboard this order.

gloves and those little cycling caps are on the cards. i have to go through a different supplier though. socks are also being looked at. a standard club helmet too.

as for delivery, i have been told that they are currently looking at about 4 weeks after we put the order in. i will get in contact with them as the order gets closer to being complete so that they can get ready for action. some things may be delivered sooner.

  9. Bags not riding behind Kim if his wish of the Mankini comes true.

I’m happy with the full zip also

  10. Liking the idea of no elastic in the arms. Is anyone else keen on the microfibre jacket, I’m guessing a min of 20 will need to be ordered…
