I’m planning on doing the 60km Race (WACF Members) as to try and stay out of trouble.
I am doing the WACF race as well, its much safer but very fast, they average ~45kmph with numerious surges. Got dropped at the Narrows last year and did the rest on my own. However, I was caught by the Barbarian Horde ~ 4 km from the end which reminded me why I will never go with the “A” group again, very dangerous as they have no idea on how to ride in a group.
