attached below is the race pack for those doing the peter clark classic.
it shows which of the spr riders will be competing in the different divisions and it looks like almost half of the ‘c’ grade men’s race will be wearing green. the race times, course distance, map and directions to get there are all included. we will have the spr tent set up so there will be a meeting point and somewhere for any spectators to sit while we are racing. refreshments will be on hand for after the event for any south perth riders.
Thanks Peter (I’m assuming?). Your organization and enthusiam to this club is remarkable and is clearly why the club has grown so quickly – credit to you and others involved. My short experience with the club has been nothing but pleasant. I managed to score Raph’s jersey for the race so I’m sorted for SPR colours. Looking forward to my first race! See you all there..
anyone got the inside story of what that little hill is like? i guess i’ll find out…
It’s a rolling hill, a bit like the ones you find on south street.
Go and have a look at the street View on Google Maps. It doesn’t look too bad (at least that’s what I keep telling myself!). There was a little bit at the end of that hill which made me think ‘oooh, that’ll keep ya honest’. Overall, it’s pretty much rolling continuously as far as I can see.
it is tha same course as the joondalup classic last year.

it is not really a hard hill, it just depends how fast the others want to attack it.
it is the really rough road surface after the hill that you have to worry about.
