ride routes 29th & 30th may

social day – thanks to all those that helped out in organising the social day.  especially kate, lisa and lorriane for the food preparation.  i have been meaning to put up post with pictures but just haven’t got around to it yet.  everyone that attended seemed to enjoy the day and the entertainment.  i think i need to get a clown bike so i can get around the office quicker.

races – mtb – wembley cycles 6hr on sunday, road – menzies crit and road race on the following long weekend, time trial – the state time trial championships the weekend after.

ride routes – due to the poor turn out last saturday 🙂 i have posted the same ride routes again.  the 11 brave/silly people that rode last week in the torrential rain did a lap of the river instead.  this week they are predicting a nicer day so we should have enough to split.

development group – spr saturday 35.48km (novice shelley)

transitional – spr saturday 39.11km (canning vale)

main 1 & 2 – spr saturday 50.72km (rebold hill & cott)

fast – spr saturday 51.36km (sth lake)

sunday 30th may- all rides start at coode st carpark at 7:00am

main – spr sunday 61.14km (welshpool & weir rd) ***following the fast group at the start***

fast – spr sunday 101.86km (welshpool & mundaring & kalamunda)

  1. i was one of the ‘dedicated’ idiots last Sat,
and talked with someone on new madone.
didn’t get your name but i need your crashed madone’s fork
if it’s still alive. im really happy to pay.
i did ordered new one but different colour came, so i cancelled it.
im waiting for a single fork for over 9 mths…
great after service, trek. how can i contact you? thanks.

  2. Also Peel have a club race at serpentine graded scratch sat arvo and sunday morning southern districts have graded scratch racing at Pickerbrook circuit

  3. West Coast Masters are racing on Sunday morning near Baldivis if anyone is interested? You’ve got to be over 35 and cost is $10. I’ll be there, so if you’re interested let me know and I’ll send you details.

  4. I was going to pickering brook to ride b grade….but if spr are heading to a particular race, I am up for it.

Fynn – in SPR you would be regarded as a ‘scratch’ rider.

  5. I’ll be at Pickering Brook. Joe will be there too and I believe he said Matt would be too.

  6. Yeah Sato that was me il bring fork tomorrow I dont need it so you can just have it. Might wanna just give it a good look over hopefully its still good

  7. Nick! Are you sure? definately ill be there tomorrow.
i cant join the ride tomorrow though… ill give you free coffee everytime you see me! really appreciated!!!

  8. Have only just seen the post, but I might give B grade a go if I can limit the damage of a 50th birthday party (someone else’s. It’s the end of the statement: “you know you are getting old when you start…”) and/or watching the final mountain stage of the Giro on Eurosport. Southern Districts run a good set of races up there and it is a challenging “classics” style course with lots of undulation.

On another note, I hope Tracy is all okay after her first altercation with the bitumen on Tuesday.

  9. Sorry I didnt see your comment thought id see you at the coffee shop. I live in Wembley 0410938067 if you wanna collect it but il be out tomorrow morning aswell

  10. Missed the emails about the racing this week! been busy, however i would be up for any races close to home next weekend (5th or 6th june). Any SPR C grade types got anything on your radars? Morrison

  11. Dan 2 races in 2 days noice 1.
I will be riding out but unsure if I will race or watch 🙂

  12. Hi Morrison, PDCC have a race next Sat arvo, Dwellingup to Pinjarra. I did their race at Serpentine today and had a blast. Nico, I’m starting to think 2 races in 2 days might be a bad idea, but I’ll still give it a go tomorrow!

  13. ahh, so a scratch race is like Kalgoorlie. I did the mtb 6hr with Jonny. my body hurts now 🙁

Was fun though, I think I was getting better with the single track in the end. but the body was starting to not want to play by then 🙂
