with half the races gone, we have a bit of an update as to how the tipping is going. shane has displayed a great knowledge of time trialling and managed to pick the winners in all three categories. there are 2 races left and although shane has a decent lead, there are no guarantees in a road race. since there are only 5 tipsters in this comp, we will make it winner takes all rather then trying to split out the pot.

Just 5 of us huh???? Might have to rethink my tactics……I was so close to going with Pooley for the TT but thought it was too short with only 1 climb in it and seriously almost went with Phinney for the RR too……..I’m hoping it’ll be a bunch sprint again tomorrow with Armistead to finish off the double for the UK. For Sunday it’s even harder……Play safe, go Gilbert??? But Cancellara doesn’t look too bad….Stay with Pozzato???????? Hmmmmmm………
I keep picking the kiwis but to no avail. How could I not pick Gilbert for tomorrow!
