so it is a long, long, looooong weekend ahead. this means either lots of riding or lot of time for things other than riding, or lots of time to fit both the riding and other things in.
easter camp – this weekend. still room if you want to come down and stay. $25 per person per night, bring your own everything. see the link on the right menu for more info. rides, family activities, hot tub.
ride routes – if you want, there are over 500kms of rides possible this weekend. anyone want a crack at it??? being a long holiday weekend we also have the problem that that majority of our ride leaders will be away. toby, carol and myself will be at the easter camp, julian is at liege-bastonge-liege and mark_s is away. now a lot of you have been riding with us for a long time, so now it is time to step up. there is no-one assigned to kick off the saturday rides, so i am after a willing soul with a loud voice, to make sure the rides all have leaders and are kicked off at the right time. the club itself is more than just the handful of people that lead the groups, so you all need to take responsibility at some stage. also, if someone does take the reins of a group, show some respect to that person as they are only trying to keep the group together for the safety of the club. as the uci race has now finished, starting next week, i will be spending saturday mornings with each of the different groups to make sure things are going ok.

Now that the UCI excitement (as Pete says) is over for now, I can step into Mark S’s shoes (with the trannies, I presume) on Saturday.
Ahh, there are rides tomorrow, I better get to sleep if I hope to leave home at 5.
Mike B you beat me to the Trannies.. I don’t mind taking Fast.. Or if you need someone to take the beginners, I would need to be told what format they follow.
Enjoy the easter camp..
You may have a trannie venturing along tomorrow mornin. Playing with logistics & an SPR play may be in order. Even better, the route goes right past my hood….
