so the mornings feel more like winter, but the days seem to be warming up and we are looking at 28 again for sunday. it makes it hard to work out what to wear in the early morning as you start to strip off as the day progresses. but the end of last sunday’s hills ride i seemed to be carrying more clothes than i was wearing.
busso half – a couple of spr members are heading down for the half ironman this weekend. dr ronny is taking the spr tent down for any spectators that are looking for some shade. good luck to those competing.
tour de france – some of you would know ivan from the transitional/main 3 group. he has had a friend withdraw from a trip to see the tour de france and is looking for anyone that is interested in sharing the experience with him. see attached for more details.

ENUFF of this Ridge Hill thing. It ain’t nice for us non-hill-billys. I’d like to submit a request for the “Jandakot” route ;0) That’s a brill route but we don’t seem to do it often enough ;0( PS thks for the ride this morn people. t’woz big time fun ;0)
yeah – about the only time we couldn’t hear your raucous chuckle echoing through the empty streets, was when we were winging it around Shelley… so, do we just need to pick up the pace a little more to keep the noise down? :p
but yeah, friday rides are great!
I missed my regular Friday dose today so have that feeling like something is missing….
Sadly my new back wheel is also wobbling like the old one and Yas is healing it for me.
Lennie – you can always join the Transitionals and a couple of us will be happy to sit back and act like a human zimmer frame to help you up the little rise along Point Walter and Leightons . . . . .
Cheek! My laughter is not raucous, it is most lady like. And Point Walter is possibly worse that Ridge Hill, so that’s a no-go too. Yas is de man; he’ll have that wheel fighting fit in no time ;0)
Wasn’t the Jandakot route the one where you nearly died during the summer?
A big thank you to you guys and gals for a great ride today.
Everyone was friendly a welcoming.
I look forward to joining in again.
If you are ever on holiday on the Gold or Tweed coasts, be sure to bring your bike and drop an email to the Murwillubah Club for info on rides.
