This is just a quick post to rub it into all those that didn’t get up and ride this morning. We had a great turnout for the Friday ride today. I think it’s a safe say it was the largest turnout for a Friday yet. Least of the ones I have attended.
Possibly today being the first dry day of the week had something to do with it. For those who have not attended a Friday SPR ride it is well worth it. Easily the most relaxed ride of the week and a great route. Only pressure cooker section is through Shelly but we always wait for those that get dropped.
So those that hit the snooze button instead of getting out of bed today this is just to make you feel guilty for the rest of the day 🙂
I feel no guilt at all. Been riding all week to work.
Rub it in, why don’t cha? I haven’t ridden all week but thought I’d enjoy just one more day of not having to get up at the crack of dawn. Any fitness I had has totally disappeared anyway so knew I’d be dropped long before Mt Henry bridge ;0(
Lennie, I suspect that Nathan’s kind of glad when one less chick rocks up…less likelihood of being ‘chicked’.
oh ZING! =D
If I get beaten by Nathan – is that the same or worse than getting ‘chicked’?
hola!
Agreed – a fantastic ride this morning
definately was a good ride this morning… 🙂
SIGH.
That is what you get Lennie. I knew YOU would read this 🙂
Amanda was missing her buddy when she4 got dropped on Shelly
(@amanda you think I was going to let your comment slip :))
Dropped Nathan? Hmmm I wander whose backside you were chasing then? 🙂 🙂
It was a great ride…thanks all.
Haha ur post has turned into a rip sesh nath
Probably not ready for a Friday morning of embarassment to be dropped in the first 10 min’s, but one day soon I may risk it! So to all the good folk who are providing this really funny repartee, thankyou, and keep up the good work
Best ride of the week!! Manning Rd was a little more ‘pacy’ than usual due to a couple of footy boys tugging on the chain!!
Have to agree with above and it was great to see the roll through again on Nicolson Rd, hopefully we can keep this going. Thoroughly enjoyed the pace, thanks all.
