Every week we b*tch and moan about how bad Perth roads are and that there arent enough cycle lanes, blah blah blah.

The City of South Perth have put out a Bicycle Plan 2011-2016 for public comment, closing 29 Feb 2012. Similarly the Town of Mosman Park have a draft plan for comment.

So if you really do care, be productive….

      Some good stuff in the report however some Local Bicycle Routes being taken out. One of concern to me is the section of the Local Bicycle Route on Cale St (SE33 i think) that connects to the Kwinana Fwy PSP via the overpass at Olives Reserve.
      Access into and outof South Perth from the Kwinana Fwy PSP is limited due to the need to get over the Freeway. I reckon all connections to the overpasses should be maintained as Local Bicycle Routes.
