I’m sure there are many clangers and pearlers that the various TdF commentators have made, but I love last night’s
“Mick Rogers has got a puncture, it’s either the front wheel or the rear…”

i had to laugh, phil leggit actually mentioned during his commentary on a recent stage just how much he dislikes the noise of the cow bells!!! pffffffft, how else is a spectator supposed to deliver the appropriate level of support?? bless his cottons ..
It made me think of your bells on the top of Malcolm street.
Here are some more.
“A Canadian defending his title” – When talking about Evans
“That’s not a great time for him” Then after being corrected by Paul “Oh well then that’s a great time by him”
“Frank Schleck should put in a good TT”
“That’s van Gerdern Slipping off” It was Taaramae in the Young riders jersey.
“the gradient is 14% increasing to 11%”
WTF is a vociferous attack??
Last years best….(i)”the winner will be the man with the fastest time overall….”(/i) You think???
Was it last night that i heard Phil say “Mark Cavendish has ridden to the back of the peleton” ? Well not unless you had turned around a ridden the other way to get there would that be possible. Me thinks he got spat out the back of the bunch?
