do we have the event for you.

the concept is much like a car rally where you get a map and clues to get to your next set of clues.  you get to ride your way around some of the northern/western suburbs discovering backlanes, cobblestones and coffeeshops.  it is not a race, but more of an adventure on two wheels.  below is the breakdown of what’s involved.

as a club we are helping to run this event and as such will need some volunteers to help.  what we need are a few people to help setup and run a registration desk, a couple of people to help with parking, a few to run a refreshments shop and some to pack up at the end.  there is an opportunity to ride the event either before or after you volunteer, so you can help the club and still do the event.  so put your name in the comments if you can help out, but if not it is still a great way to get your family involved in cycling so make sure you enter the event.  if you do volunteer, you get a free t-shirt as well.
