so the vuelta concluded on the weekend and the teams were all awarded their final payments.  in our sweepstakes, this meant an extra bonus on top of the money already won on each stage.  for some teams, this meant an almost doubling of their revenue from the event.

as was explained at the start, this sweepstake was mimicking the actual revenue the teams received for the event.  as such, even though the top three on the podium in madrid where radioshack, astana & movistar, the top three earners were radioshack, astana and katusha.  this is due to the teams individual stage wins, mountain passes and sprints.

so, where did your team end up.  the table below shows how much each team will receive.  every team did earn something, just some earned a lot more than others.  i am still waiting on a couple of people to actually pay their entry (crossed out below), but essentially i will be doing a bit of rounding.  for the five teams that earned over $20 can you please email me your bank account details and i will make a transfer.  for the others, i will be dropping a doggy bag of coins in your lap one saturday morning after the ride.  if anyone is not interested in claiming their winnings email me to let me know and i can put it down as a club donation.
