running late this week and running on stress. it has been a busy few weeks and it culminates in the watertower challenge this weekend. no real time to discuss anything here. hope everyone is well.
watertower challenge – a great turnout with 108 riders registered for the challenge. thanks also to those that have volunteered to run the event. hopefully it is a successful day.
weekly rides newsletter – we are trialling a new service where you put your email into the widget to the right and it sends you an email when the ride routes are updated. give it a try and give us some feedback.
ride leaders – it is in the clubs best interest to develop new riders so that they ride in a safe manner. put your name down here to ensure the club grows to its potential.
ride routes – time to test out those navigational skills with a ride through whiteman park. see which groups get lost this time. my money is still on the fast group. on sunday, we will still be setting off some of the watertower challenge riders at 7am. be aware that they will also be there and that some of the usual ride leaders will not be doing the sunday hills ride.

The email notification is a great innovation
Team Troisage is short a rider, struck down with brochitis, for the Water Tower challenge. anyone from M2/M3 up for it at the last minute? we kick off at 7.00 looking for 25-30k average. email me gary2908@optusnet.com.au or call 0422 893 556
third rider sorted.
I’m well as well thanks Pete.
Notifications are great.
Hi there, appreciate the sentiment but not a fan of unsolicited emails. How do we opt out as it seems I have been defaulted to opted in?
yeah, that was an error. it seemed to spam every registered user when we set it up. it will be an opt in only service.
Good luck to all cyclists and volunteers at tomorrow’s Water Tower Challenge. I hope everyone has a great day.
