Has anyone else signed up for it? Since buying a Kickr trainer I have developed some weird addiction to their app.
Tour details for anyone interested.

But it is looking like a tough 9 days.

Is anyone doing the hell of the north?
I have had to relocate to Thailand for work, but will be back in Perth for that weekend, so thought I would sign up for it this year. I will be driving up and have one of these racks

Which take 4 x MTBs quite comfortably, so I will have space for 3…[Read more]

I have been having a cleanup as I’m moving to Thailand.
I sold the light set and then found this mount on another bike (I don’t have the buyers details so I can’t get it to him).
So if anyone wants a spare; pickup is in Bicton.
It is one of these

you can do it online here
https://www.crashreport.com.au/ocrf/I would give it a go. I think it may at least prompt a call from the police with questions as to them failing to stop or report an accident. obviously they will claim they were unaware, but for the sake of 10 mins of your time…

clinto started the topic River loop Wednesday Morning in the forum General Discussion 10 years ago
I was thinking of doing a river loop (to burn off all the krispy kreme donuts I ate today).
7am under the narrows north side. Up mount street, and then a couple of kings park climbs, then around the river and a coffee somewhere. alternatively we could do the SPR public holiday route, (depending on numbers). I’m easy either way.
I was hoping…[Read more]

good one.
BBs are reasonably easy (depending on the type) but you need the right tools, which is largely crank brand dependent. I have a BB30 press fit on my MTB. I just took that to the shop as I don’t have the tools and the cost of the tools is more than it cost to swap them over.
But external cups are relatively easy now days. there are…[Read more]

I’m the same, find the limit of my abilities by passing that point 🙂 which i guess is how we learnt before the internet and you tube :)but at the end of the day, you can just take it to a bike shop, so I reckon have a go. the first time I took a rear hub apart I had the two springs under the paws shoot across my garage. took me about 15 mins…[Read more]

I believe the fulcrum wheels and maybe the hubs are identical to campy (but there might be some differences depending on years)

Park seem to be aimed at shop mechanics and I guess are designed with a bit more durability as they are to be used every day.
I would say its like comparing a sidchrome adjustable crescent to a cheapo chinese knock off. they feel noticeably different in the way they move. however, its generally not the case for all tools.
I started off with a…[Read more]

For basic servicing such as cleaning change cassette and jockey wheels. I would recommend:
masterlink/quick link pliers which are sooo much easier than doing it by hand. You should get a quick link if you don’t have one on your chain.
Chain whip
cassette tool – you will need a campagnolo specific one. Get one with a handle as it is easier to…[Read more] - Load More
