A few of us are doing a casual Christmas Day ride from Coode St @0700. So if you fancy a pre-Christmas pudding ride come and join us. Ride route TBC on the day, nothing too hard.

Watch out for the following roadworks:
1. Intersection of Abernethy Rd & Leach Hwy
2. Abernethy Rd at the Tonkin Hwy flyover – reduced to one lane and there are concrete barriers in the cycle lane.

Mr B your boss is very mean not to give you your holidays. Obviously not a cyclist?
Thanks Mark for leading a safe ride. Communications amongst the group was excellent and helped to keep us together for the whole ride. The small group of 9 worked well. -

Thanks for starting a Main 3, it is great to get the distance in. I agree re safety, this should be our focus. More communication between riders would be great, especially slowing…… stopping….. Support from more experienced riders would help with safety training perhaps?

The “bust out” sprint on Nicholson did look messy from the back with riders spread out both within the lane and along a road that was becoming busy with traffic making it harder for motorists to pass a spread out group.
