Thumbnailby dr ronny I’ve had a pretty good week and we’re moving house which means I need to clean out the garage. I came across some things I have absolutely no use for and want to get rid of so what better way than to give them away! The following items are free. No steak knives […]

  • Got a late call up for work so I won’t be able to take the Tranny’s out (again!). One day I’ll make it back to a Saturday ride…

That’s just Emma wearing a pant suit!

  • Hi Pete,

I can’t make it this weekend unfortunately. I may get to the beginning of the ride but need to get to work by 8.

    Sorry.

  • I would be keen. There is a small chance I might get called away that weekend, but I will know in advance and someone can take my spot if needed.

  • I got to the tunnel under Thomas St which was filled with mud from the rain. I heard my front tyre blow and figured I was not going to get to the ride in time. I decided to walk the 15 minutes home to change the tyre (with the old one going in the bin) […]

  • This is really appalling. I hope this is not out of line, but I would suggest the following to those that fell: 1. file an incident report with the police ASAP 2. write a letter to the Town of East Freo and Main Roads stating what happened and that you consider they were neglient in […]

by dr ronny I like Autumn. I find summer too hot. Winter too wet. And in Spring, I’m too slow. But Autumn is just perfect.  And I’d have to say the best thing about Autumn is: accessorising! Cycling offers a multitude of fashionable accoutrements to adorn oneself with – base layers, vests, jackets, booties, full […]

  • If they want to slow motorists down (afterall, they’re study shows 94.7% of cars travelling over 50kph (which is the speed limit) and an incredible 265 vehicles per day travelling over 80kph), why don’t they put a fixed speed camera along that stretch? They are quite common in Sydney and very effective, plus, they could […]

  • Hi Sarah, there’s only one T group now as most of what use to be T1 has become M3. I agree, the spread of speeds was a little greater than in the past few weeks but with a few more weeks, the slower guys will get faster 🙂

by dr ronny First of all, apologies for not getting round to posting last week’s ride report. We had another good turnout with around 16-20 people this week, some new faces, some old. After getting to the carpark with a puncture and having to change the tire 3 times (the first 2 didn’t work), I […]

  • I mentioned this to Jono (Michael) Bolton’s girlfriend Emma and she didn’t even know who he was. Boys, we are getting old……

  • Thanks to everyone in the club! For every person who puts in a bit of their time or that little bit of effort, thanks again!

PS – the kit is awesome!!! I love the new sleeves! (I might need to get the wind vest altered but the bibs are great and the the jersey too!)

  • Emma and I will be there

  • Still deciding whether I will be heading down with a non-cycling group of friends. In either case, I will be up for a few rides whilst I’m down there.

  • I’ve booked the family studio room at the Pemberton Hotel for the Friday and Saturday nights. The Sunday night is also available if you want but we will be heading back as Emma has to work Monday. There are 2 single beds free if anyone wants to come down and bunk with us.
    Cheers

by dr ronny First of all, apologies for the tardiness of this report. I accompanied the T2 group for my first time on Saturday. There were 8 of us and I learnt a lot of things: No 1. The pace in T2 is what I consider “social”. Everyone could manage a conversation for the entire […]
