  1. hats off to all involved in putting this together this morning.
thought it went really well and was good to catch up with some of the crew.
PS – glad we decided to split Main 1 into 2 today…smaller is sometimes better 🙂

  2. Thanks to everyone in the club! For every person who puts in a bit of their time or that little bit of effort, thanks again!

PS – the kit is awesome!!! I love the new sleeves! (I might need to get the wind vest altered but the bibs are great and the the jersey too!)

  3. Only feedback on the new location. Where was all the food?

Tried the kit on I like it. I should fit right into the darkness on the way to those early bird rides 🙂

  4. The fit of my jersey is terrible around the shoulders/neck area. Anyone else having the same problem?

(The fit of the nicks and skinsuit is really good though.)

  5. Yes Mark, I have the same problem with my jersey (S). I have taken some photos and intended to email it into Pete. There is too much material from the neck to the top of the shoulder and it looks terrible.. Hopefully we can do something about it.

  6. and yes peter you were right – the bottom stitch on the leg grippers is too tight. cant fit my leg guns into it.

    the skinsuit is perfect.

  7. I have to agree the fit is not great.
My xs seems to be smaller than the previous one i got.
the arms are really tight, i think my fingers were looking slightly blue.
And i also thought it would be full zipper 🙁

i wonder if we can find a tailor to alter it ?

  8. Ditto on the men’s S jersey. The cut around the neck and shoulders is all wrong.
The shoulders are too rounded and there is an excess of material at the neck. There is definitely something awry with the panels at the top of the jersey (disclaimer: I am not a seamstress).

I also got the women’s medium jersey. Both these jerseys have the same dimensions on the size chart (obviously the torso is cut differently in men’s vs women’s). That jersey fits well around the shoulders and the neck. The cut is square, flat and broader in the shoulders.

I tried on multiple sizes (men’s S/M and women’s M/L) at a shop in Perth that has Cannibal kit prior to putting my order in. I don’t recall the men’s S fitting this poorly in the shop. In fact it was my preferred fit.

mmm..The men’s S jersey has already been relegated to the bottom draw where my mediocre internet purchases go to die! 🙁

  9. Both the M short-sleeve and long sleeve jersey fit perfectly. No bunching at the shoulders or back for me at least.

Also the grippers on the M knicks and bib-knicks are fine for me.

So, clearly my (inadequate) body shape is the guide for the M sized kit.

  10. After a ride in them I like the grippy legs. I see what Jen means about the shoulders and chest a little today but when in the riding position it all seemed ok. I could see in my shadow something flapping around in the breeze today but figured that was just excess awesomeness 😉

  11. Thankx Fairy for picking up my kit! Very happy with my XL bib knicks and jersey. I find it very much a race fit but still fits nicely. I might think differently if I had guns like Dan B!
Nice work Pete – thankx for organising it.

PS: – Will there be minutes of the AGM available for those unfortunate enough not to be able to make it on Saturday?

  12. Haven’t yet riden in the kit (maybe this saturday) but I have tried them on. The XL jersey fits well, and I haven’t noticed the issues with the XL that have been mentioned about the S. @KatieL shame that you feel that the S jersey must be relegated to the bottom of the drawer.

The Bibs seem to fit OK, and yes the leg grippers are a bit tight, but with my pea shooters, that is not toooo much of an issue. Would have been nice a tiny bit looser.

@Nathan, I must remember to ride behind you so that some of that excess Awesomeness hits me as it washes off you….LOL.

Just a bit thanks to the Outgoing (those that are and are not continuing on) Committee for all their work.

  13. yes i am, but i need you to send me some photos of what the issues are. if i just tell them that it is crap around the shoulders, it doesn’t really explain much.
