what an awesome day. all the big names out on the course and it was great to see them attacking each other on the climbs. well it did turn out to be a sprinters course as thor convincingly won it. cav had a bad day and didn’t look happy at all. the crowds were unbelievable for a race in australia and the reaction of those watching the big screens whenever anything exciting happened was great to watch. i am glad i went over for it as it may not be back in australia for a while. however, this just means that i will have to go travelling to watch it again.
for those that didn’t stay up late to watch the world champs. for shame. even with the interupted telecast, it all came down to the last two laps and there were so many big names still in the running.
