spin with…kat

spin with kat - wed 6:30pm

after the demise of “spin with fynn” there has been a void in bike orientated evening training.Β  kat has volunteered her time to resurrect wednesday night spin starting this week.Β  the format will be the same as it used to be, same place, same time, probably the same people, but maybe minus ryan. so details are as follows.

what – spin with kat.

where – under the narrows on the south perth side (on the grass when the weather is fine, under the bridge when it is wet)

time – wednesday nights 6:30pm

bring – bike, turbo trainer, towel for sweat, catalogue of bad jokes.

extra – optional run afterwards or optional beer at the windsor.

  1. Good work Kathryn, unfortunately I run on Wednesday nights now so no can play for me πŸ™

But I am doing a spin session under the narrows tonight and then for the following two weeks. This session is for me to get used to riding my TT bike again as it has been on the wall for almost a year now, as I am doing the champion lake Duathlon on 9th Oct 11

    http://www.trievents.com.au/duathlon/

So if anyone wants to come down for the next three Mondays, would be happy to have some company..

    1. @FlyingFynn “A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run” Rule #42

“If it’s preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run, it is not called a bike race, it is called duathlon or a triathlon. Neither of which is a bike race. Also keep in mind that one should only swim in order to prevent drowning, and should only run if being chased. And even then, one should only run fast enough to prevent capture.”

So don’t worry about that running thing, get on your bike….:P

      1. I am a runner who rides once a week.. πŸ™‚

So this is training for a running race which has a couple of bike rides thrown in for good measure…

  2. Hooray first session down. Wind, check, rain, kind of, below average temperatures, check!! Life was good under the bridge, shame I didn’t really know what was going on πŸ™‚ but I had fun and promise to get my act together as summer nears and folks want better rigs etc.

Hope to see you all there soon – thanks for the good crew tonight – you all know who you are.

  3. Good work Kat.. I hear you made the people stretch.. Something males do not think about doing much of..

Andrew, what are you trying to say?? The instructor on Monday did not have a good rig?

  4. Ryan the instructor on Monday probably has a fit rig, but his head is so inflated that they can’t see past it :p:p:p:p right?

God when we meet I hope you don’t want to thump me, and that you can take my teasing!! πŸ˜€

Thanks Andrew hope you had a good workout tonight too – you made me want to stretch and I hope that wasn’t too rude of me to say in that manner πŸ™‚ (ps Zina made me if that is the case!)

  5. The Monday Instructor was good, but in my short experience, rigs come in good, great.. and awesomeness. With the benefit of good lighting, I’m sorry to say Ryan, you’ve been trumped.

I’ll still be turning up to Monday nights while they are still on. If Jen/Anna/Megs/Carlos and Kimbo can make it.. it’ll be hard to breathe when I’m laughing so much.

Spin with Fynn or Kat is highly recommended.. Wish I could make it more often.
