Hello, I’ve decided it was time to try road bike racing but unfortunately have already taken a wrong turn before even getting on the course…

On the Cycling Australia registration form I didn’t notice there was a “South West CC” club on the bottom of the list – I thought I selected “South Perth CC”, but nooooo I selected the bottom one, so imagine my shock when I got the email from South West Cycling club welcoming me to their club 300km away (and I already had decent warm up ride from Karrinyup to South Perth).

I phoned Cycling Australia to explain the situation and they said I need to first pay the $25 club fee portion to SPR, then they will change my club over to South Perth. My problem is that I don’t know anybody in the club yet to arrange this.

Can someone please let me know whom I should contact, or which après-ride coffee I should turn up to?
